in CT. Foxwoods casino on the Mashantucket reservation (Ledyard border)
and Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville are currently the only CT casinos.
There are other Indian tribes seeking federal recognition in hopes of bringing
new casinos to Connecticut in the near future.
If you are planning to visit either of these two
Connecticut casinos it is easy to find hotel
reservations that are in areas convienient to each of these casinos
(they are only approx 8 miles apart).
Foxwoods looks like a Vegas style castle decending
upon the woods and Mohegan sun resort casino is a huge circular complex
with wooden decor for a more subtle atmosphere.
Whichever style you prefer you will find them both
world class. In fact, they are both in the top ten largest casinos in the
world. Can't decide? Thier close proximity makes it easy to visit both
casinos.
